Hospice in the Weald provides compassionate, individualised, holistic and supportive care for all patients with terminal illnesses, their carers and families in West Kent and East Sussex.
As a local charity not part of the NHS we need to raise £7m each year to ensure our services can continue.
Just a Drop is an international water charity which provides sustainable safe water, sanitation and hygiene projects to communities around the world through partnering with local communities to deliver local, practical solutions. Jane was a Trustee of Just a Drop for 20 years and is also credited with coming up with the charity’s name.
Our work also includes micro-finance, food security, income generation, sustainable agriculture and menstrual hygiene management programmes to further support the development and economic growth of the communities we work with.
