We have always taken great pride in providing only the finest vehicles to its clients. We operate our own fleet of vehicles, that is modern, well maintained and immaculately looked after. Our current fleet is shown below outside ‘Bateman’s’, National Trust house in Burwash, East Sussex; formerly home of Rudyard Kipling for 34 years, until his death in 1936. In addition to our Mercedes Hearses and Limousine, we also have a Range Rover 4×4 Evoque; two silver 4×4 Subaru Legacy’s and a silver Mercedes estate.
Our Limousine has been specially adapted to have a hygiene screen, which enables the driver to remain separate from the passengers. This essential protection, especially with the ongoing pandemic means families requiring transport can be offered this option. The limousine seats 5/6 members of a family comfortably, plus the driver.
In recent years the South East has experienced some wet and very cold, icy winters with prolonged snowfall. A normal hearse or limousine cannot safely drive in such conditions. By using our Subaru Hearsettes and Range Rover we are still able to transport a coffin and family mourners, in even in the coldest weather conditions on the day of the funeral.
We operate two 4×4 Subaru Legacy Hearsettes. They are part of our 4×4 All Weather Fleet. They can be used to carry mourners where necessary; carry a coffin more discreetly than a hearse, and are our primary vehicles we use to collect the deceased who been placed into our care.
We are able to supply a variety of different vehicles either as hearses or to transport mourners. Possible alternatives are:
You are welcome to use your child seats, booster cushions in our limousine, presuming they are fully compliant with UK safety regulations.
We will be pleased to assist those who are less mobile and can carry standard wheelchairs in the boot of our limousine.
You are welcome to follow the cortege in your private car.
