After a Service at Wealden Crematorium

After the service

after a service at Wealden crematorium

There are a number of options you can choose from as the final resting place for the ashes of your loved one. After a service at Wealden Crematorium; we can collect the ashes for you and arrange with you what you would like to do with them. Or perhaps you would like to collect them yourself. Alternatively, they can remain within the grounds and be scattered in one of the three beautiful scattering gardens they have here.

Or perhaps you would like to use either the Panorama Niche Vault or one of the Sanctom Vaults available. We will ask you what you would like to do but there is no rush whatsoever to decide. The crematorium will be happy to keep them, free of charge,  for up to 28 days afterwards if you are unsure.

The Book of Remembrance

The room holding the Book of Remembrance is located within the main building. You are always welcome to go and read through it. This is a simple and permanent form of remembrance for your loved one.

It will be inscribed for every day of the year. Some of our families will revisit on certain anniversaries – you will just need to book an appointment to visit. This means that the celebration of the life of your loved one is not limited to one day, and this book is visited regularly for many years by families following a funeral service with both C. Waterhouse & Sons and Heathfield Funeral Service.

Memorials

Each crematorium offers different options for memorials and this will be a personal choice for you. This makes your time after a service at Wealden Crematorium more special and personal to you. We can work with you to ensure the memorial is exactly how you and your loved ones would like.
