Wealden Crematorium is a beautiful, state-of-the-art crematorium set in 25 acres of rural countryside on the A267 just south of the village of Horam, in East Sussex.

Since the opening of the Crematorium in 2019, both C. Waterhouse & Sons and Heathfield Funeral Service have provided many heartfelt funeral services here. So with our traditional values as highly reputable funeral directors, combined with this beautifully modern setting it becomes a perfect blend of old & new.

About Wealden Crematorium

The architecture here is stylish and modern. A significant amount of care was taken when designing it to be sensitive to the countryside around. Additionally, it also means that Wealden residents no longer need to leave the district for cremation if they choose not to. Surrounded by glorious and colourful wildflower meadows and woodland; the crematorium offers a really peaceful setting to say goodbye to loved ones.

As a local funeral director, with one of our branches only a few miles away in Heathfield; we really welcomed this new crematorium. Whilst there are a number of funeral directors in the Wealden area, we believe that both C. Waterhouse & Sons and Heathfield Funeral Service are different.
